Too Much Weight Hampers Sex Drive



   There are a lot of over weight men and women who complain about a lack of sex drive. There have actually been a number of studies that indicate over weight people tend to lack sexual intimacy with their partner. There is both bad news and good news related to this problem.
   The bad news of the fact that too much weight hampers the sex drive is that it then leads to a lack of personal intimacy between a husband and wife that eventually leads to bigger relationship problems that will affect the marriage. Whether you decide to loss weight or not to help with this problem make sure that you communicate with your spouse about the lack of sexual drive because of too much weight. I have been a marriage counselor for 20 plus years and can confidently say that communication is 90% of any problem.
   The good news about the fact that too much weight hampers sex drive is that a few simple changes in your lifestyle can boost your sex drive to new heights. When a person participates in a healthier lifestyle it increases, substantially, their interest in sex. So here are just a couple of things you can do to lose some weight and heighten your sexual desires.
  First, activities that increase the blood flow to the muscle groups in the thighs, buttocks, and pelvis, whether that is yoga, taking an active walk or bicycling for 30 minutes two or three times a week. What this attention to those large muscle groups will do is to bathe the genitals with better circulation resulting in a better arousal, more lubrication and orgasmic function. Of course this will help you have a return of sexual drive and help you too lose weight at the same time.
  Secondly, losing as few as 10 pounds can often free up testosterone and give a boost to your love life. Making a few diet changes can not only help you drop your weight and help you to live longer it will also add gusto to your sex drive. Making a few diet changes, following a low-fat diet and eating lots of fruit and vegetables will help get blood sugar and cholesterol under control which can also help turn your sex drive around.
  Obviously what I am saying is a little light consistent exercise coupled with a good diet program with help you to lose weight and heighten your sex drive. If you feel better about your own body and your blood is flowing freer you will feel more attractive and too much weight will no longer hamper you sex drive.
